Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone

When should you look for 1:1 leadership coaching?

Coaching with Lead with Purpose is ideal when a leader needs personalised support to work through a specific skill gap, current challenge, or behavioural pattern that’s getting in the way of their performance.

It’s perfect when you have one or a couple of leaders who need extra support to bring their leadership skills in line with the rest of the team.

Common reasons a leader benefits from 1:1 coaching:

  •  A recent step into leadership, with uncertainty around how to lead instead of do

  • Avoidance of difficult conversations or performance issues,

  • Constant firefighting, with little time or space to lead strategically,

  • Strong technical skills, but struggling to influence or engage others,

  • Inconsistent leadership behaviours, especially under stress or pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This coaching is ideal for frontline or emerging leaders who are facing specific challenges—whether it’s confidence, communication, delegation, or leading under pressure. It’s especially effective for individuals who aren’t getting what they need from group training alone.

  • We’ll tailor the number of sessions based on your leader’s goals and your organisational needs. Most coaching packages include 6 sessions.

  • Each session runs for 1 hour, and the spacing between sessions is flexible. Leaders typically meet fortnightly or monthly to allow time for reflection and application.

  • If a leader has the potential but is struggling with confidence, communication, or consistency—coaching can help. We’re happy to have an initial conversation to assess whether it’s the right fit.

  • Absolutely. 1:1 coaching often works well alongside group training, giving individual leaders the space to apply what they’re learning and work through specific challenges in more depth.

  • We set clear goals during the initial session and check in on progress throughout the coaching. Leaders are encouraged to reflect on changes in behaviour, mindset, and results—and we can provide feedback to your leader or HR.

  • It’s optional, but highly recommended. The PRISM Profile gives valuable insight into behavioural preferences and leadership style, and helps target the coaching even more effectively.
